The best things about this website are it is children's learning network that was specially design for children and also it is totally free. this website making education fun and free as it combine the use of educational activities, products, movies, music, games, articles, text books, learning programs, lesson plans, and worksheets as the means of learning. This style of learning is really suitable for children as it is not really serious, boring or based totally by reading material.
In addition, the uses of simple cartoon visualization create excitement for children to use this website as a way to learn on educational topic. In terms of learning material, the materials provided in this website were agreed by many teachers and educational personnel to be accurate, updated, and informative for students in elementary school. This website is not only beneficial to children but also it can be utilized by teachers, parents, and home schoolers to enhance their learning environments, and increase their interest and attentiveness of the learners.
Children learn best by practicing. So, this website can be useful to be used as a homework given out after school. Children who practice what they have learned in school will remember it better, and will be able to use that knowledge as a basis for future learning.
There are several weaknesses in this website. First, this website is specifically design for European kids as its syllabus is in line with the education provided in that country. This website is not a universal website that can help students for other country to learn better about history as the topic cover in this website might not relevant to those who are not receiving the same educational system like the European kids did.
Other than that, the main language use in this website is English. For elementary schoolers who are not used to speak English, it might be difficult for them to understand the information and questions given in the activities. The founder of this page should consider making it multi-lingual so that it can be used as an additional source of knowledge for students who are not used to English language.
